Coleman's Hatch :: Shared Description
Coleman's Hatch is a small village / hamlet centred just south of the B2110, on the northern edge of Ashdown Forest. It has no services except a fine pub and a church. Its name is derived from the Coleman Family (mediaeval charcoal makers in nearby Hartfield) and Hatch (gate to nearby Ashdown Forest).
