Maidstone East Station :: Shared Description
Maidstone East railway station is one of three stations in Maidstone, but the only one with a regular direct service to London. The station is on the Maidstone East Line. The Station opened in 1874, called Maidstone, as a terminus, in 1884 the line was extended to Ashford. In 1889 it was renamed Maidstone East.
