Lake Park Pond :: Shared Description

Lake Park Pond, Peacehaven is located at the centre of a housing estate and is used as an educational resource to the local community and schools with the County Council encouraging annual conservation days as well as primary school science lessons to be conducted here.

The rare and legally protected Great Crested Newt use the pond as a breeding site, These creatures have experienced widespread decline over recent years due to habitat loss due to development.
