The Lighthouse :: Shared Description
The Lighthouse Vision:
"To be a leading body for the promotion of architecture, design and the creative industries, locally, nationally and internationally by engaging people of all ages through a creative exhibition, education and business programme."
Scotland's first dedicated national centre for architecture and design is based in the 1895 Charles Rennie Mackintosh designed former Glasgow Herald newspaper office.
Spread over six floors, it is a must for anyone with an interest in architecture or design. It also has a good quality cafe and two viewing platforms which offer interesting views of the city from an unusual perspective.

All descriptions are public and shared between contributors, i.e. you can reuse a description created by others, just as they can use yours.
