Disused quarry :: Shared Description
This small quarry, located on the Overtoun Estate, appears to have been the source of some of the stone that was used to build Overtoun House (see Link
on the house), with the remainder being taken from the immediate area in which the building was constructed. The material found here is the hard Spout of Ballagan Sandstone.
