Workers' Memorial Tree :: Shared Description
Erected by the Medway Towns Local Government Branch of the trade union Unison on 28th April 1998, this mulberry tree in Rochester Castle
Grounds is dedicated to all those killed at work or who have died from work-related illnesses.
On 27th April 2012, UNISON Medway Local Government Branch held an event to name staff that had died in service and attached name tags to the tree with ribbon in memory of them.
