The house in the distance stands at the junction of these two roads. The gate on the right is the entrance to Falkland Old Churchyard which contains graves dating back to 1674. There are two gates at the top of this path from the duck pond NO2407 : Falkland Estate gatehouse and duck pond One goes straight ahead direct to the chapel (just visible beyond the trees) and the other goes right into an open field from which the chapel can also be accessed.
