Downloading the software
The main data processing is performed by routines (macros) written in VBA for Excel. This process is almost entirely automatic. But first is to necessary to set up the Macros in the system. The Macros are stored in two .docx files in GM Geograph Media, one each for AGF and ATL and named:Module 1 software, v2
Module 2 software, v2
To insert the code into the workbook, first ensure that the workbook has been saved in .xlms (macro-enabled workbook) format. Click on Developer on the top bar, then click on Visual Basic; you may also have to click on the project explorer icon to open the VBA project pane on the left. Within the VBA project pane, right click on any part of the current project and click on Insert>Module to create Module 1. Copy the code from the Geograph Media file of Module 1 (article formatting software) and paste into the Macro pane. Insert a further new module (Module 2) and copy and paste the code for the Module 2 (Leaderboard updating software).
