FK
The FK postcode area is centred on Falkirk and essentially comprises Stirlingshire and Clackmannanshire, but it also features a substantial part of Perthshire.(At local government reorganisation in 1974, the old Scottish counties, unlike many in England and Wales, were not substituted by the Post Office, so the old county names remain correct for postal purposes.)

FY
FY are not the letters that would immediately spring to mind as the postcode for Blackpool, but that is because it is named after the Fylde, the peninsula on which the famous seaside resort stands. The post towns POULTON-LE-FYLDE and THORNTON-CLEVELEYS were previously under BLACKPOOL, becoming post towns in their own right in 1991. THORNTON-CLEVELEYS addresses were previously either Thornton, BLACKPOOL or Cleveleys, BLACKPOOL.

G
The third single-letter postcode area alphabetically, G of course is for Glasgow. A large area, the G postcode spreads more rurally northward and southward than it does east and west – this is because of near neighbours ML (Motherwell) and PA (Paisley) on those latter two sides. The G63 district, in particular, includes the rural area all the way up to the eastern shore of Loch Lomond.Although large in area, the G postcode contains few post towns – mainly because so much of the surrounding area comes under GLASGOW itself. The other post towns are all in Dunbartonshire. The G60 area is a bit of an anomaly, being a detachment of the GLASGOW post town area, separated from the bulk by CLYDEBANK in G81.
At local government reorganisation in 1974, the old Scottish counties, unlike many in England and Wales, were not substituted by the Post Office, so Dunbartonshire remains correct for postal purposes. (So too does Lanarkshire, GLASGOW's county, but since Glasgow was one of those large cities traditionally not requiring the county name, it is omitted here.)
