Commentary: Runs alongside borough boundary before heading across into Poole Borough.
The brick wall to the left of the path is the borough boundary and the path, at the end of the visible stretch, turns left. Thus, only this first 40m stretch is in Bournemouth.
The continuing Poole footpath 63 (Poole's numbering does not use letter prefixes) heads down to Branksome Dene Chine. The whole footpath is 430m in length.

This passageway is a steep one, not exactly mountainous but it does lead to Snowdon Road.
The series of short flights of steps are all in good condition and there is a pleasing symmetry - except for this flight, which has been put out of shape by the tree roots alongside it.

I like this sign. I don't know why. Maybe it's the homemade simplicity of it. But I think it's because we are so far down the path that you no longer need a sign.

This is the only right of way numbered under Bournemouth Borough Council that strays outside of the borough boundary. However, the two ends are both in Bournemouth. The boundary is the backs of gardens along here, and the wooden fence at the end of the road, pictured here. We are therefore looking across to Bournemouth from Poole.

Commentary: Pavement of driveway of Talbot Heath School, followed by wooded path.
This footpath has a sudden change from suburban to rural - it goes through the gap to the left of the hedge. It looks rather tiny but comfortably accommodates a person! It is deceptive, perhaps because the pavement is a little wider than usual.
