Number: D07
Designation: Public footpath
Length: 14m
Route: Henville Road [SZ 1020 9244] to dead end [SZ 1021 9243]
Map:
This must be the most useless footpath in the land. Apart from being completely overgrown, it doesn't lead anywhere anyway. Just 14 metres and a dead end.
It did have a purpose before the roads here were realigned and severed to make way for the main A338 in the 1970s. Henville Road was previously a Y-shaped road, and this path cut the corner off within the centre junction of the 'Y'.

Number: D08
Designation: Public footpath
Length: 64m
Route: Shelbourne Road [SZ 1034 9261] to Capstone Road [SZ 1037 9267]
Map:
Commentary: Short passageway between these two parallel roads. Also now forms driveway to a few infill houses in back gardens.
Number: D09
Designation: Public footpath
Length: 19m
Route: Holdenhurst Road [SZ 0996 9204] to Corporation Road [SZ 0998 9203]
Map:
This is an unusual path in that it heads through an arch in a row of shops, the flats above continuing over the path. We see it from the rear here, in Corporation Road, which doesn't have any addresses on this side - just the rear yards of the Holdenhurst Road shops.
Number: D10
Designation: Public footpath
Length: 39m
Route: Christchurch Road [SZ 0980 9139] to Weston Drive [SZ 0981 9135]
Map:
Commentary: Route runs along office driveway and through a small arch between two garages.

The view from Weston Drive. The two garages look as if they belong to the same premises, so one might not realise that the archway between them is a public right of way.
Number: D11
Designation: Public footpath
Length: 71m
Route: Christchurch Road [SZ 0976 9138] to D10 [SZ 0981 9136]
Map:
Commentary: Two sides of a square, a short path around Kingsway House and Beacon House to link up with path D10.
