His first houses built for two Miss Woods. They are both grade II listed (List Entry Number: 1344949 and 1254545respectively)

Originally built with three stories the fourth floor was added in 1899. There is a monogrammed F.W. stone above the entrance. A similar stone on the added floor has W.F. as he had between the two constructions changed his name.

A very modest office building.

Cattle Market, Nottingham Road, Mansfield

The original function of this building is unclear. Its listing describes it as "Former Cattle Market", but Brand describes it as "the weigh house sometimes called "The Tavern" on the site of the former Cattle Market".
