This area to the west of the A863 (excluding the village of Muir of Ord) has been included here because of its proximity to the Black Isle and its interesting woodland.

Dunmore Wood
This path and a track diverge the further you walk into Rheindown Wood. I made the mistake of following the track NH5147 : Track by Dunmore in Rheindown Wood, rather than this footpath.

Faebait Wood
I guess the name Faebait Wood is reserved for the Forestry and Land Scotland's coniferous plantation. It is an extension of Clash Wood.
