Geo-Trips :: Hergest Ridge Circular in the Snow from Kington, Herefordshire
Hergest Ridge Circular in the Snow
A walk from Kington, Herefordshire, Mon, 4 Jan 2010 by Trevor Rickard
A bitterly cold day with icy lanes and deep snow on the ridge. Sometimes the walker is the first to traverse fresh snow and this particular walk had plenty of that! How do those ponies survive?
Similar walk to Link but a rather different feel.
Click the blue circles to see a photograph taken from that spot and read further information about the location. The blue lines indicate the direction of view. There is also a slideshow of this trip. ( )
