Geo-Trips :: Monsal Trail
Peak District
A cycle ride from Blackwell Mill, Thu, 5 Jul 2018 by Gareth James
A look along, and just beside, the 8.5-mile Monsal Trail in the Peak District. This cycle- and footpath follows the route of a former railway line, and now includes passage through the six tunnels on this section of the route, as well as various bridges and viaducts.
Click the blue circles to see a photograph taken from that spot and read further information about the location. The blue lines indicate the direction of view. There is also a slideshow of this trip. ( )
