Geo-Trips :: Around The Loe from Helston Lodge
Around The Loe
A walk from Helston Lodge, Thu, 7 Apr 2016 by Christopher Hilton
Formerly an inlet of the sea (one of the branching flooded valleys or rias that are characteristic of the south Cornish coast), the Loe is now separated from the sea by the huge shingle bank of the Loe Bar, and is tideless.
Click the blue circles to see a photograph taken from that spot and read further information about the location. The blue lines indicate the direction of view. There is also a slideshow of this trip. ( )
