A walk from Corrour bothy, Fri, 2 Mar 1990 by Richard Law
preceding leg | This trip is part of a series. |
The second of two days traversing the Lairig Ghru in the middle of winter, as part of a Wrekin Mountaineering Club week in Aviemore. We'd been dropped at Linn of Dee the day before and spent the night at Corrour bothy, then walked through the Lairig in a good stiff breeze and deep snow cover, finishing at Glenmore Lodge.
Click the blue circles to see a photograph taken from that spot and read further information about the location. The blue lines indicate the direction of view. There is also a slideshow of this trip. ( )
