Geo-Trips :: Killing time between flights at Bristol Airport
Area Around Bristol Airport
A walk from Bristol Airport, Fri, 7 Apr 2023 by Thomas Nugent
I arrived at Bristol from Prague at 3pm and quickly cleared Customs and the UK Border, which meant that I had five hours to kill before my connecting flight home to Glasgow. Not quite enough time to comfortably accommodate a visit to the city centre on a Friday afternoon, but certainly enough time to take advantage of the warm and sunny early spring weather and explore the rural area south east of the airport on foot and to pick up some Personal Geograph Points in the process.
The few people that I met along the way were friendly and helpful (I was offered several lifts) and this quickly dispelled any rural paranoia and English trespass law concerns that I might have had when I set off from the airport.
The closing stages of my flight into Bristol from Prague can be seen in this Geograph article Link .
