Snaefell Mountain Railway
A train ride from Laxey Station, Wed, 25 Oct 2023 by Basher Eyre
preceding leg | This trip is part of a series. | next leg |
No-one I knew had ever been to the Isle of Man (this obviously excludes Geograph Hunters, who have been EVERYWHERE) My mum and sister have been to just about every major tourist destination in the world. But Mum can no longer fly, so they looked round for somewhere you could reach by ferry. And what a gem we found. Our family quite often visits the Isle of Wight but Ellan Vannin took it to a whole new level. Today we began with a return trip to the Snaefell Mountain Railway
Click the blue circles to see a photograph taken from that spot and read further information about the location. The blue lines indicate the direction of view. There is also a slideshow of this trip. ( )
