What better way to usher in 2025 than a bracing walk from Euston Station to Waterloo. On a glorious winter morning, I headed down to High Holborn via Tavistock and Russell Squares, round to the British Museum and into Covent Garden. From there to Aldwych, The Strand, Embankment and Victoria Embankment ending with a stroll across the Golden Jubilee Bridge to the Festival Hall and Napoleon's Nemesis...Waterloo!
