It all started when one day I was at Liss and my car was at Liphook. Of course you could get the train but it was a nice day so I said I was going to walk. A colleague said "No, you'll be run over. I'll give you a lift"- which she did. Unwisely, I said "You could walk from Portsmouth Harbour to London Waterloo without getting run over." So when did I begin? The week the clocks go back and the first signs of poorer weather appearing. Leg One is pretty much where I worked for 30 years. I am sure they are not all going to be this easy...
