Recently I said it was possible to walk from Portsmouth Harbour to London Waterloo; and this leg was the founder of the feast. I was working at Liss and my car was at Liphook. It was a train strike day. I said I was going to walk it- it was a glorious mid summer date. A colleague said I would be killed and gave me a lift. So today I am having to prove it. From Railway Station I went along to Liss Forest where I joined up with the Shipwrights Way. I could have stayed on that all the way but took some diversions along the Serpent Trail and the Sussex Border Path. Simples.....
