Geo-Trips :: A circular walk from Widecombe in the Moor
Circular from Widecombe in the Moor
A walk from Widecombe in the Moor, Fri, 11 May 2012 by Graham Horn
The first day of a 3-day break on Dartmoor. We arrived at lunchtime and opted for a 7-mile walk to the north of Widecombe in the Moor, nothing too strenuous but taking in a couple of tors and some moorland as well as quiet lanes.
Bell Tor is lovely, and special.
We finished with a quick look around the village, before heading to our B&B near Ivybridge.
Click the blue circles to see a photograph taken from that spot and read further information about the location. The blue lines indicate the direction of view. There is also a slideshow of this trip. ( )
