Subliminal climbers, Boulder Ruckle
The crinkled limestone cliffs to the west of Anvil Point are known as Ragged Rocks or Boulder Ruckle. The climbers seen here are at Subluminal - a popular spot with pegs on the clifftop to assist abseiling and a solid base below (above the waves) to start from. The name 'Subluminal' presumably refers to the fact that this cliff climb is below the light of the Anvil Point lighthouse. This particular view is from the Marmolata buttress further west which projects from the cliff, affording a view along the Ragged Rocks.
