Loch Lomond Shores from Drumkinnon Tower
Loch Lomond Shores from Drumkinnon Tower
This lochside development is called Loch Lomond Shores, and seems designed mainly to appeal to tourists. The largest building, in the form of a long sweeping arc, is the retail crescent, which houses various shops. A separate building, just visible at the extreme right of the photo, with a puff of steam rising from it, is the National Park Gateway Centre.

The photograph was taken on a very wet day from inside nearby Drumkinnon Tower: NS3882 : Drumkinnon Tower. Compare NS3882 : Loch Lomond Shores, which was taken from outside (on the observation deck) on a better day.
