The A 4080 at the entrance to Clwt y bont cottage
The drive to the cottage is an disused part of the A 4080. Here the road curved to cross a minor stream by means of a bridge. The curve was by-passed sometime between the 1926 and 1953 editions of the OS 1:10560 plans.Clafdy farmhouse and Merddyn-y-bit can be seen in the background.
