Robinson's Shaft, south Crofty
Robinson's Shaft, south Crofty
A working tin mine in 1982. Today we would probably need steel toecaps, hi-vis vest and a helmet to stand here - well not then we didn't. The building with the chimney houses a famous 80" Cornish beam engine that is in the care of the National Trust.
