The end of the road
Many years ago [1970s] this was the A9 Edinburgh to Linlithgow Road at the old Turnhouse Passenger Terminal on the north side of the airfield. It went round the end of Runway 13-31, and traffic was stopped by lights when aircraft landed and took off. The road was closed when the new longer and more into-wind runway 07-25 was made, and a new terminal built on the south side of the airport. The area now is part of the cargo terminal.
