Marchwood Incinerator
Marchwood Incinerator is more correctly termed Marchwood Energy Recovery Facility, since it burns waste and generates up to 14 MW of electrical power for the national grid (see Marchwood ERF in LinkExternal link ). The houses which appear to be right in front of it are actually about 500 metres nearer the camera.
