Arncliffe Hall
The hall stands at the bottom of the Cleveland Hills scarp and adjoins the parish church. Built in 1753-54 to the design of John Carr, who was responsible for several grand country houses, and many town houses in the city of York. The house is built of a fine local sandstone.
