This footbridge leads from Renton to the Vale of Leven Industrial Estate, crossing the River Leven; a large industrial estate lies ahead, but is hidden from view by the trees: see NS3878 : Path to Vale of Leven Industrial Estate, taken from further ahead, on the stairs that lead down at the far end of the bridge.
A cycle route (NCN route 7) closely follows this side of the river, and passes underneath the bridge at this point.
