Marlbrook Landfill Site - Floods 6 September 2008
Marlbrook Landfill Site (aka "The Marlbrook Tip") in the process of being remediated in order to construct a proposed golf course on the site. Picture taken during a very heavy downpour of rain on 6 September 2008 causing the run-off from the site to form a fast flowing stream. This stream passed through a series of balancing ponds and eventually via a culvert into the Marlbrook stream. View taken during the downpour at about 16.15 hours and is looking towards the small wood shown on the OS map.
