Sea stacks at Porth Wen
Sea stacks at Porth Wen
These stacks are the remnants of collapsed natural arches. The white mass in the foreground right has a surviving natural arch. Caves can be seen in the Torllwyn headland beyond the stacks. In time these may join with caves on the opposite side of the headland to form natural arches which would eventually collapse to form sea stacks.
