SO0121 : Erosion on Pen y Fan

taken 15 years ago, 5 km SSE of Libanus, Powys, Wales

Erosion on Pen y Fan
Erosion on Pen y Fan
The path up Pen y Fan from the south-east, like many, has considerable erosion. It has become the natural watercourse which has in turn frozen. Thus many people were choosing to walk on the moorland grass alongside. A sensible precaution to avoid slipping on the ice or to be chastised for widening the erosion line?
