SE2604 : Abstract agriculture

taken 18 years ago, near to Hoylandswaine, Barnsley, England

Abstract agriculture
Abstract agriculture
Between Hoylandswaine and Silkstone, this resembles a work by Jackson Pollock, or perhaps one of Paul Nash's stark landscapes of the Western Front in the First World War. Quite what the crop (planted on ridges) was I'm not sure - possibly a bean crop.
