Bay Lough from ascent Sugarloaf Hill
They say Bay Lough is bottomless. I wasn't geared up enough with snorkel and wet suit to investigate this claim. Maybe I'll wait for Summer!
It is a real treat when Bay Lough appears from out of the mist. It rarely does from this position on the hills.
Bay Lough is worth a visit when you are at The Vee. Park the car and an easy down hill walk of 10 minutes will have you at its banks. Great for a picnic.
