An icy showerbath!
An icy showerbath!
Ashgill Force is an impressive waterfall LinkExternal link on a tributary of the South Tyne, hung with some spectacular icicles during the cold snap of February 2009. Some climbers can be seen on the ledge behind the waterfall which despite appearances is (fairly) dry.
