Snow covered peat hags above Glen Ogle
Snow covered peat hags above Glen Ogle
This square is an area of rough peaty moorland at over 500m, with a number of protruding tops of which the highest is 659m.
The peat hags in this view are on a knoll in the north west corner of the square. In winter, at 600m and frozen hard under snow, they are much more forgiving to the walker than at other times of year.
