The Library at Belsay Hall
The Library at Belsay Hall
When the Middleton family made over the 19th century Belsay Hall LinkExternal link to the Ministry of Works (subsequently English Heritage) they made the unusual stipulation that the house should be shown unfurnished. This magnificent library is the largest reception room in the Hall.
