St. Mary: the parish church of Little Dunmow
This building is all that remains of Little Dunmow Priory, which was founded in 1106 by Geoffrey Baynard for Augustinian Canons. The building that survives was once the south chancel chapel or Lady Chapel. The strange turret was added in 1872.
