The Jane Coston Cycle Bridge
This bridge across the busy A14 was opened on 18 May 2004, following a lengthy campaign. Link
It was named after local county councillor Jane Coston, who campaigned for many years for the bridge to be built. The red track is for cyclists, whilst the black section is for pedestrians. It is primarily designed as a safe route into Cambridge, and especially to the Science Park and Business Park, from the village of Milton.

The Jane Coston bridge was built to give cyclists and pedestrians a safer route between Milton and Cambridge than the busy roundabout interchange with A14. It opened on 18 May 2004, allowing cyclists and pedestrians to cross from Cowley Road to Milton. The 77m main span carries NCN 11 over the dual-carriageway A14.
It is named after local county councillor Jane Coston, who campaigned for many years for the bridge to be built.
