taken 19 years ago, near to Marsworth, Buckinghamshire, England

Grave Boards in Marsworth Churchyard
Grave Boards in Marsworth Churchyard
Until gravestones became popular in Victorian times many graves were marked with oak posts at the head and foot, and an oak board between them carrying an inscription. Most are now long gone, but these two remain at Marsworth, although all traces of the inscriptions have vanished.
