SK3583 : Bishops' House
taken 12 years ago, near to Greenhill, Sheffield, Great Britain

Bishops' House
Bishops' House in Meersbrook Park was built around 1500. Local folk-law claims that two Bishops grew up here, though this belief is not supported by any known documents. The house was occupied, almost continually until 1976, when it was restored and opened to the public as a museum. Bishops' House is managed by the Friends of Bishops' House, a voluntary organization dedicated to the welfare and future of the house. See the link for details of opening times. Link
