SM9801 : Looking out from the Wogan

taken 16 years ago, near to Pembroke, Pembrokeshire/Sir Benfro, Wales

Looking out from the Wogan
Looking out from the Wogan
The doorway constructed in the Norman period is now sealed by railings through which can be seen the Pembroke River just yards away. This was once a tidal inlet with good access for ships but has been closed off from the open sea to create a series of ponds.
