SO4814 : Church at Rockfield

taken 16 years ago, near to Rockfield, Monmouthshire/Sir Fynwy, Wales

Church at Rockfield
Church at Rockfield
The church is dedicated to St. Cenedlon, although early maps show it as St. Kenelm, a Mercian king and martyr.
All parts, except the tower were rebuilt in 1862 in the Early English and Perpendicular styles. The restored preaching cross, one of two in the village, stands in the churchyard.
