Gisborough Hall Hotel
Gisborough Hall once the seat of Lord Gisborough now a hotel.
Pevesner provides a description: "The house was built by Teulon in 1857 and enlarged in 1902. The back is still Teulon's, but of the front only the part with the two earlier bay windows and the pairs of windows above. Even this part was heightened by another storey, and a third bay window was added. Also the (south) front bay must be of 1902. Teulon's doorway jambs and oriel deserve examination. The latter is shaped like the stern of a ship and has a porthole on one side. This is explained by Telon's client who was Admiral Chaloner."
