NZ0410 : Gutters front doors

taken 16 years ago, near to East Hope, County Durham, England

Gutters front doors
Gutters front doors
From the south, Gutters can be seen to have four front doors, suggesting that the ruin was once a row of small dwellings, not a single farmhouse. The buildings faces south, with a gentle slope down to Gregory Beck over about 40m, now covered with Juncus effusus and very poor pasture - there is no sign that there ever was a garden or farmyard.
