Carn Trellwyd and Carn Penberi
Carn Trellwyd and Carn Penberi
The OS map has this as Carn Treliwyd which is a misspelling: Carn Trellwyd means Grey Cairn, which it is, being composed entirely of igneous rock.
In the background is the peaked crag of Penberi.
This image, taken in April, reveals the extent of gorse growth and can be compared with the First Geograph showing bracken coverage in August.
