Maes-y-mynydd (9)
Maes-y-mynydd (9)
Tiny windows were a compromise between the need for light and the threat of cold in this exposed location close to the coast. The dwellings at Maes-y-mynydd would have resembled the only truly-traditional cottage remaining in the area, Treleddyd-fawr, a short distance inland, see SM7527 : Old Treleddyd-fawr
