Kilt Rock
The Kilt Rock, and the Mealt waterfall, seen from Rubha nam Brathairean. The cliff at Kilt Rock is around 90m high. Its two tiers are said to resemble the pleats of a kilt. The upper part is columnar basalt, sitting on horizontal beds of sandstone.
The little plume of spray lifting off the water marks the position of the just submerged Valtos Rocks in NG5263.
